Sikandar Raza leaves Punjab Kings for IPL 2024: After Punjab Kings’ spectacular win against Kolkata Knight Riders, star all-rounder Sikandar Raza has left the team. Sikandar Raza has said that the reason for leaving Punjab Kings was national duty, i.e. playing cricket for Zimbabwe. Sikandar Raza will no longer be a part of IPL 2024 due to playing cricket for Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe cricket team is on Bangladesh tour from May 3 and the team will play a 5-match T20 series on this tour to prepare for the T20 World Cup 2024. Sikandar Raza is the captain of Zimbabwe T20 team.

Sikandar Raza has got a chance to play only two matches for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. In which he scored 43 runs at an average of 21.50. During this, he bowled two overs in which he gave 22 runs and did not get any wicket.
