A team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) reached Hemant Soren’s residence in the capital Delhi on Monday morning to investigate the money laundering case related to the land scam. However, when the ED team reached the Jharkhand CM’s residence in Shanti Niketan, a posh area of South Delhi, he disappeared. According to reports, Soren was available at his Delhi home till midnight but then left for an unknown place. The ED team kept waiting for him at his house throughout the day, while efforts were made to find out his location but without success. However, late in the evening the ED field office received an official letter from the Jharkhand CM’s office through email, informing the ED about the date of questioning as January 31.
The ED team interrogated for eight hours in Ranchi. ED had issued summons to Hemant Soren for further questioning in the money laundering case related to the so-called land scam.
After waiting the whole day the ED team returned
According to reports, the ED team left Soren’s residence after the incident. However, a large number of security forces have been deployed inside and outside the house. It is noteworthy that after the new summons was issued by ED, Hemant Soren suddenly reached Delhi.
