Afgh.stan Team T20 World Cup 2024: T20 World Cup 2024 is to be held from June 1 in America and West Indies. This time 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup 2024. The teams are divided into groups of five each. Now Afgh.stan has announced its team for T20 World Cup 2024. Rashid Khan has been made the captain of the team. 15 players have been given a place in the Afgh.stan team for the T20 World Cup. Three players have been kept in reserve.

There have been many changes in the team

Afgh.stan has made many changes in its team for the T20 World Cup 2022. In which Karim Janat, Mohammad Ishaq and Noor Ahmed have been included in the team. Whereas Hashmatullah Shahidi, who captained Afgh.stan in the ODI World Cup 2023, did not get a place in the team. He played the last T20 International match for Afgh.stan in the year 2022. Rashid Khan has been given the responsibility of captaincy for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

 

 

A player who debuted against Ireland got a chance

Nangyal Kharoti made his international debut for Afgh.stan against Ireland this year. The 20-year-old impressed in the series against Ireland. In that series, Nangyal took five wickets in three matches at an economy of just 5.90. Mohammad Ishaq, who is included in the Afghan team for the Under-19 World Cup to be held in 2020 and 2022, has also got a chance.

In the T20 World Cup 2024, Mujeeb will be seen leading the spin in the Afghan team with the support of Ur Rehman, Noor Ahmed, Nangyal Kharoti and the experienced Mohammad Nabi. Naveen-ul-Haq, Farid Ahmed and Fazalhaq Farooq have retained their places and form Afgh.stan’s fast bowling line-up.
