ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Schedule 2024: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the Women’s T20 World Cup. This time the Women’s T20 World Cup is going to be played in Bangladesh. The opening match of this World Cup will be played between England and South Africa on 3 October. Then the six-time champion Australian team will start its match against Qualifier-1.
Pakistan also in India’s group
India has been placed in Group A along with Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Qualifier-1. After this, Group B has South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Qualifier-2. Australia won the title for a record sixth time by defeating hosts South Africa in Cape Town last year. The best performance of the Indian team was in 2020, when it was successful in reaching the finals.
The Indian women’s team will play its first match against New Zealand in Sylhet on October 4. Then they will face Pakistan on 6th October. Then on October 9, it will face Qualifier-1. India’s last group match will be against Australia on 13 October. The Indian team will play all its group matches in Sylhet.

Let us tell you that in this tournament each team will play four group matches. Then the top 2 teams from both the groups will reach the semi-finals. The semi-final match will be played on 17 and 18 October. So the final match will be played in Dhaka on 20th October. A total of 23 matches will be played in 19 days, which will be held in Dhaka and Sylhet. There will also be a reserve day for the semi-final and final matches.
