In a workshop org.zed on Monday at the Center for Integrated Rural Development, Kashi Hindu University, experts taught rural women the tricks of sewing with digital sewing machines. In the workshop, experts also explained the working method of digital sewing machine and the method of using the machine. Sushil Kumar Singh, area sales manager of a company, told about various types of designs, sewing methods and methods using digital machines in the training program.

Dr. Alok Kumar Pandey, Course Coordinator of the Centre, said that the digital revolution has brought many changes in our lives and has made the means of employment easier for us. We can learn a lot with just a little effort.

Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Director of the Centre, Prof. Binda Paranjape said that the Center for Integrated Rural Development has been working towards women empowerment for the last 44 years. The center is giving sewing training to women and sisters. Due to which another medium is added to their livelihood. Thanks were given by sewing instructor Aarti Viswakarma. Assistant Registrar of the Center L.B.Patel, Project Officer of the Center Dr. B.P.Singh were also present in the program.
