Prayagraj, 09 May (HS). The Allahabad High Court has asked the State Government and the Board of Secondary Education Prayagraj whether departmental disciplinary action can be taken against the employer under the service rules for chatting with assistant teachers on WhatsApp group.

The court has sought a reply within three weeks and has stayed the order passed on April 18, 24 against the petitioner of District School Inspector Gorakhpur and has directed not to take departmental action on the basis of WhatsApp message. The court has directed to present the petition for hearing on May 28.

Justice JJ Munir has given this order while hearing the petition of Kamlesh Yadav. The court has also issued notice to opposition number seven. The petitioner Bholaram is an assistant teacher in Maskara Inter College, Gahansad, Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur. He commented against the employer on the WhatsApp group. On which the inspector had ordered to take departmental action.
