Mirzapur, 07 May (HS). On Tuesday, Superintendent of Police Abhinandan along with police officers inspected the Naxal-affected village Bagahi and village Jalalpur Mafi of Chunar area and gave necessary guidelines. He held a meeting with the villagers and appealed to them to vote fearlessly.
The Superintendent of Police appealed to the villagers not to be misled by anyone and to exercise their votes fearlessly and in a fear-free environment. Said that if any person pressures someone to vote for a particular person by giving any kind of inducement or lure or tries to influence the voters, then immediately inform the local police. If any person tries to influence the election, strictest action will be taken against him. During this time, Inspector-in-charge Chunar and other police officers and employees were present.
