AstraZeneca, the company that provided vaccines to people around the world during the Corona virus infection, has recalled the stock of Corona vaccine from all over the world. The company has announced that it has recalled its Vaxjavria vaccine worldwide. It is noteworthy that only AstraZeneca’s licensed Covishield vaccine was given to protect against corona in India. The Covishield vaccine prepared in India is also based on the formula of Vaxjaveria vaccine. The Covishield vaccine in India was produced by the Serum Institute of India. No decision has been taken yet on the issue of withdrawal of Corona vaccine in India.

According to The Telegraph report, AstraZeneca claims that the old stock of the vaccine has been recalled because an updated version of the vaccine is available. The company had decided to recall the vaccine Vaxgervaria on March 5 itself, but this order has come into effect from the 7th. British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has taken this step after the company admitted a few days ago that some side effects of the Covid vaccine have emerged. The vaccine has caused some people to develop symptoms such as thrombosis or thrombocytopenia syndrome. In this disease, clots start forming in the blood of people. It is noteworthy that a total of 2.2 billion doses have been given in India so far, which include Covishield, Covaxin, Sputnik, Moderna, Zykov D etc. Vaccines from these manufacturers were used for both doses of Covid
