Mumbai: The Crime Branch team of Mumbai Police has arrested two youths with a cache of weapons in Andheri. Four country-made pistols and eight cartridges have been recovered from the accused in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. One of the accused is a habitual offender, a police officer said.

The accused Prashat Razoria alias Radhebhai (age 24) and Harsh Kashyap (age 19) have been arrested and further investigation is underway.

Police got information that both the youths had come to sell weapons in Marol, Andheri. Based on this, the police laid a trap and arrested Prashant and Harsh. Four country-made pistols and eight cartridges were recovered from them. Investigation is underway to find out to whom the accused had to sell these weapons.

A case of illegal weapons possession has already been registered against accused Prashant in his native Uttar Pradesh.
