Actor Gurucharan Singh of the popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been missing for several days. Delhi Police is busy searching for him. The news of Gurucharan’s disappearance came to light on 26 April. His father Harjeet Singh confirmed this. Now producer of the show ‘Taarak Mehta’ Asit Modi has talked about Gurucharan Singh.

According to reports, the news of Gurucharan Singh’s disappearance has reached Asit Modi. He is shocked to hear this news. Asit recalled the days when Gurucharan played the character of Roshan Singh Sodhi in his show. He also said that he has good relations with Gurucharan.
Asit Modi said, ‘This is very sad and shocking news. He loved his family very much. He took full responsibility of his parents upon himself. There was no personal bond between us but as far as I know he was a very religious person. He left the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah during Covid but even then we had a good relationship.
Asit also expressed hope that Gurucharan Singh will recover. He said, ‘Gurucharan always met me smiling. His disappearance is surprising. I don’t know how this happened. At present the matter is under investigation, so I am hopeful that we will definitely get some good news. I pray to God that he remains safe and starts answering his phone calls soon.
Roshan Singh Sodhi’s son Gogi reacted
Actor Sammy Shah, who previously played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi’s son Gogi in the show ‘Taarak Mehta’, talked about Gurucharan. He said that he had talked to Gurucharan Singh on phone 4-5 months ago. The conversation lasted for an hour and during this time Gurucharan kept motivating Sama to fulfill his dreams. Samay Shah said that he misses Gurucharan.
Gurucharan’s father is worried
Actor Gurucharan Singh’s father Hargeet Singh said that Gurucharan Singh has been missing since April 22. He has lodged a complaint with the police. In such a situation, he has also given all the documents to the police so that it can help in locating Gurucharan. The police have assured the actor’s family that they will find Gurucharan soon.
Police found CCTV footage in which a case of kidnapping came to light. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Gurucharan Singh had left for Mumbai on the morning of 22 April. He had a flight at 8:30 from Delhi airport but he did not take the flight and did not reach Mumbai.
On April 25, at 3 pm, the actor’s father lodged a missing complaint at Palam Police Station in Delhi. After this, the police got a CCTV footage in which Gurucharan Singh is seen leaving from there. The actor’s phone was also working till April 24 but now it is said to be switched off. When the police analyzed the phone transactions, many strange things were found.
What did the police say?
In this case, DCP Rohit Meena of South West area of Delhi said, ‘Gurcharan Singh’s family lodged a complaint with us that he had left for Mumbai at 8.30 pm on April 22. He has been missing since then. We have registered a case in this regard and are investigating it from various angles. We are examining the CCTV footage and doing technical investigation and we have got many important clues from it. We have registered a case under section 365 of IPC. In the initial investigation, his movements are being monitored through CCTV. He can be seen going somewhere with a bag.
