This incident happened before the match when Daryl Mitchell was practicing batting.
Before the match, some enthusiastic Chennai fans thronged the Dharamshala Stadium. Before getting ready to play, Mitchell wanted to get everyone excited. Mitchell’s shot hit a cricket fan’s phone, injuring the fan. After seeing this, Daryl Mitchell immediately apologized to the public. Apart from this, as compensation, Mitchell gifted his expensive batting gloves to a CSK fan.
