Fine on Ishan Kishan: Ishan Kishan made a mistake in the IPL match played against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday. Ishan Kishan did something during the match against Delhi Capitals (DC), after which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave him a big punishment.

This step proved costly for Ishan Kishan:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has imposed a fine of 10 percent of the match fee on Ishan Kishan. Ishan Kishan violated the IPL code of conduct in the match played against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday. Ishan Kishan has committed a Level 1 offense under Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. IPL issued a press release saying, ‘Ishan Kishan has been fined for violating Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Ishan Kishan has admitted a Level 1 offense under Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

BCCI took immediate action:
According to a press release, for Level 1 violations of the Code of Conduct, the match referee’s decision is final and binding. Section 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct deals with misuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment during matches. Ishan Kishan has confessed his crime. Talking about the match, thanks to Jack Fraser-McGurk’s explosive inning of 84 runs in 27 balls, Delhi Capitals defeated the struggling Mumbai Indians by 10 runs and strengthened their claim for the playoff race.

Delhi Capitals beat Mumbai Indians:
Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 257 runs for 4 wickets, in which apart from Jake Fraser-McGurk, Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten after scoring 48 runs in 25 balls. In reply, five-time champion Mumbai team could score only 247 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. Delhi are fifth on the points table with ten points from ten matches after their fourth win in the last five matches, while Mumbai Indians are ninth with six points from nine matches. All the bowlers of Mumbai proved to be expensive. Luke Wood gave 17 runs and Nuwan Thushara gave runs at an economy rate of 14 runs per over. The most expensive was Hardik who gave 41 runs in two overs.
