Jodhpur, 08 May (HS). Trading in Phalodi agricultural produce market will remain closed for the next two days due to holidays on Akshaya II and Tritiya.

Secretary of the Agricultural Produce Market Trade Association, Dhansukh Taru, said that the process of auctioning agricultural commodities in the Mandi family will be closed on Thursday and Friday. In such a situation, all the farmers have been asked to reach with their crops on May 11. On the other hand, procurement of mustard at support price has been started through Bawdi Co-operative Marketing Society.

440 farmers have registered online for weighing mustard at support price. On a public basis, farmers will be able to get 25 quintals of produce weighed at the procurement centre. The support price of mustard has been fixed by the government at Rs 5650 per quintal.
