New Delhi: Often you eat many types of vegetables in your diet. Then most people remove the peel of the vegetable. Vegetables are prepared by peeling them. However, there are some vegetables which are very nutritious if consumed with their peel. Eating vegetables with peel may seem a bit strange to you. But the peels of some vegetables are rich in nutrition.

If you cook this vegetable with its peel, you will benefit. Eating vegetables provides adequate nutrition to the body. And vegetable peels contain plenty of fiber. Which helps in keeping our digestion good.

Potato-
Potato peel contains elements of iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium. So digestion process increases. And your blood sugar also remains under control. If you peel it and cook it, you do not get enough nutrition.

PUMPKIN-
While making pumpkin vegetable, never peel the vegetable. When the peel of this vegetable is removed, it contains abundant amounts of iron, vitamin A and potassium. Which is very important for the body.

Tomato-
Tomatoes are used to add additional vegetables. Its bark contains abundant nutrition. Therefore, one should never make the mistake of peeling vegetables while cooking them.

Cucumber-
Peeling a cucumber removes up to 50 percent of its nutrition. Never remove its peel when you use it to make salad. So this will not affect its taste. And they will get their full nutrition.
