The name of this show is ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ in which many actors became famous and even today hold a special place in the hearts of the fans. People started recognizing it in every household and one of them is the story of actor Tanmay Vekariya, commonly known as ‘Baagha’. The character of Bagha in this show is very different but in real life he is not at all like Bagha, this has been said by the actor himself.
Although Tanmay Vekaria has worked in many TV shows, no one else got the popularity he got from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Tanmay says that whenever someone sees him, he knows him more as Bagha than his real name and it is a matter of pride for him.

Tanmay Vekaria was born in the year 1981 in Surat, Gujarat. Tanmay was from a Gujarati family and his family belonged to the middle class. Apart from Tanmay, he has a younger brother who is now working as a CA. Tanyam joined theater after graduation because he wanted to become an actor.
Tanmay recalled his days of struggle and told about his family background. By the age of 30, Tanmay got married and became the father of a daughter. Tanmay Vekariya’s struggle was very long but finally he got success.

Tanmay Vekaria told that he joined a theater in Surat, Gujarat. He was doing well there but could not earn in theatre. When his father pressured him to get a job, he took a job with his maternal uncle, who was a CA and lived in Mumbai. Tanmay continued to struggle even though he received a salary of Rs 700 from his uncle’s house and it was not enough to meet his expenses.
Along with his job, he also did theater. In his initial days, Tanmay had worked with Disha Vak. in Dilip Joshi’s play. After many years of hard work, he got a show in which he played the role of Smriti Ir.’s younger brother. After this, he kept getting small jobs like cameos in TV shows. Tanmay Vekariya said that he had to face failures and difficulties for about 10 years and during this time he also went into depression.
In the year 2010, he met Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which changed his fate. The actor said that he reluctantly gave the audition but it proved to be like a bolt of magic and he became a star overnight.
