New Zealand has announced its 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Along with this, the team’s new jersey has also been launched for the World Cup. The captaincy of New Zealand is once again in the hands of Kane Williamson. Dwayne Conway and Matt Henry have been included in the team for the T20 World Cup. Dwayne Conway, who was out of IPL 2024 due to injury, will now be seen playing in the World Cup. Apart from this, Matt Henry, who bowled brilliantly for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, has also been selected by the Kiwi team for the World Cup.

New Zealand team’s head coach Gary Stead said about the selection of Matt Henry that Matt Henry has proved himself by working hard in T20 cricket. Adam Milne will be unavailable due to an ankle injury. Because of this, Henry was at the forefront of making a place in the team. Apart from this, Henry will support Tim Southee and Trent Boult in fast bowling.
