To remain in the race for the IPL 2024 play-offs, Delhi Capitals will have to defeat the in-form Rajasthan Royals team at any cost on Tuesday. The entire responsibility of Delhi captain Rishabh Pant and Jack Fraser will be on McGurk. Delhi has won five and lost six out of 11 matches. The remaining three matches will have to be won at any cost and even after that, despite having 16 points, we will have to depend on the results of other teams. Kolkata and Rajasthan have 16 points each and Lucknow team can cross 16 points. Flat pitch will also be another challenge for Pant. With Rajasthan’s batsmen in form, Delhi’s bowlers will have to perform better than their potential.
Bowlers like Ishant Sharma, Khalil, Kuldeep can dismiss Rajasthan’s Jaiswal, Samson and Ryan Parag cheaply but the 60 meter boundary is the biggest problem. Pant has scored 380 runs with three half-centuries and he has Australia’s Fraser who can change the outcome of the match based on his ability. Delhi’s batsmen will also have to struggle against Rajasthan’s bowlers. It is not easy to play Chahal and Ashwin. Both the teams last met in Jaipur in which Delhi lost.
