Cachar (Assam), 04 May (HIST). Assam Rifles, in collaboration with Sonai police station of Cachar district, has arrested a smuggler with 572 grams of heroin by conducting an operation in Nagdirgram of the district.
According to the information received from Assam Rifles, this action was taken on the basis of secret information. The value of the seized heroin is estimated at Rs 4.04 crore. The seized drugs and smuggler have been handed over to Sonai Police.
