Amidst the border dispute with neighboring country China, the Indian Navy will now also be deployed in the South China Sea. Three ships in the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy have reached Singapore to be deployed in the South China Sea. This action by the Indian Navy underlines the strong relations between the two navies. Indian Navy spokesperson gave information on INS Delhi, Shakti and Clinton under the command of Admiral Rajesh Dhankha have reached Singapore.

According to reports, the Indian Ambassador to Singapore welcomed the three ships, sailors and officials. The Defense Ministry in New Delhi said the visit is set to further strengthen the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two maritime nations. The ministry said in a statement that the current deployment reflects the strong ties between the navies of the two countries.
China’s dominance in the South China Sea continues
At present China wants to capture the South China Sea. Due to this it keeps troubling other nearby countries. China is involved in a standoff with Philippine naval vessels. The Philippines is trying to claim the second Thomas Shoal in the South China Sea and China is strongly opposing it.
China destroyed a Philippine ship
Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) spokesman Jay Tariela said on April 30 that two Philippine ships were on patrol. During this, Chinese CCG ships and six Marine Malaysia ships surrounded their patrol ships. The CCG ship attacked the PCG ship with water cannon 12 nautical miles off the coast. At the same time, two CCG ships attacked the PCG ship. A Philippine ship was damaged due to China’s action. However, China denied this claim and said that they had removed PCG vessels from the area as the area is for fishing.
China has shown courage before also
Earlier, a WZ-7 flying drone of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army was seen flying near the Philippines. The drone was seen flying near the West Philippine Sea. The Chinese drone sighting comes amid other territorial disputes with China, including over Second Thomas Shoal and Scarborough Shoal. The WZ-7 jet-powered drone, flown by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force and People’s Liberation Army Navy, has a service ceiling of more than 60,000 feet. Its range is approximately 4,350 miles. In 2022, the same drone was also seen flying near the Taiwan Strait.
