Mohali: BLV Blasters pulled off a thrilling win on Day 12, Match 23, of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League tournament being org.zed by the Punjab Cricket Association at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. With this victory, the Blasters team has reached the top with 24 points. In this match played between Blasters and JK Super Strikers, Blasters defeated Strikers by two wickets. Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first. Thanks to Anmol Malhotra’s unbeaten 89, JK Super Strikers scored 154 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. The start of the Blasters chasing the score was not good.
On the score of 36, three players of Blasters were dismissed. Later, thanks to the excellent batting of Naman Dhir, Prerit Dutta and Sukhdeep Singh Bajwa, the team won. On the last ball, Ashwini hit a four and completed the three runs needed to win. Blasters scored 156 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs and won the match.
