Punjab Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance Redressal Minister, Mr Aman Arora said while handing over the award certificate to the representatives of M/s Terrasys Technologies Limited, after the meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of Punjab State e-Governance Society. The selection of the new service operator to operate, maintain and manage the service centers in the state for the next five years has been done in a transparent and time bound manner.

According to the new contract, these operators will be responsible for all IT. (Desktop, Computer, Scanner etc.) and Non-IT. Will provide basic infrastructure (AC and water-coolers etc.), which was earlier provided by the State Government at each service centre.

 

Aman Arora said that the state government is ready to start door step delivery of services provided at the service centers of Punjab and this new contract will provide services to the residents of Punjab at their rates as promised by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Method of giving.

He said that currently more than 430 services are being provided to the citizens through Seva Kendras and door step delivery of other important services including marriage certificates, birth and death certificates, caste, income and area certificates etc. will be added soon. Will be started.

He said that the new transaction rates quoted by the selected service operator are likely to save the state government about Rs 200 crore in the next 5 years.
