Prayagraj, 06 May (HS). In the meeting of the UP Trustee Committee, approval has been given to give Rs 5 lakh each to 280 advocates who died below the age of seventy years in the last years.

Advocate General Ajay Kumar Mishra presided over the meeting regarding this matter in the Advocate General Camp office of the state. In which the committee members included Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh President Shiv Kishore Gaur, Bar Council members Janaki Sharan Pandey and Pradeep Kumar Singh.

It was told that a total of four hundred applications have been received. Out of which the applications of 280 families have been approved. The remaining will be considered in the next meeting. Under the scheme of the state government, on the death of advocates below the age of seventy years, Rs 5 lakh each is given to the family members. A committee meeting was called to consider it.
