IMD said, ‘There is a possibility of heat wave in isolated areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and eastern Uttar Pradesh during the next five days from April 27 to 29. Heat wave may prevail in western Uttar Pradesh. , Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during 28 to 30 April.
However, the weather department has also predicted rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds over the western Himalayan region, plains of north-west India till April 28. IMD has said that between April 26 and 30, storm, lightning and strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour may occur at different places. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, M.pur, Mizoram and Tripura. Also, widespread light rain is also expected. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Sikkim on April 28. The Meteorological Department has predicted strong surface winds up to 35 kilometers per hour in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and South Rajasthan on April 26 and 27.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 39 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
