According to sources, Rahul Gandhi is going to Kannauj today. This will be the first rally of India Alliance, in which Akhilesh and Rahul Gandhi will come together on the campaign stage. It is believed that both the leaders can also do road shows. Even before this, both the leaders were seen together during a press conference in Ghaziabad.
Efforts continue for permission for road show
The fourth phase of voting in Kannauj Lok Sabha constituency is to be held on May 13. Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate from this seat is Subrata Pathak. Pathak had created history in the year 2019 by defeating Akhilesh’s wife Dimple Yadav in the elections.

Congress’s Rahul Gandhi and SP’s Akhilesh Yadav, the two main faces of the India Alliance in Kannauj, are scheduled to participate in an election rally at Boarding Ground in Kannauj on May 10 to challenge the BJP from one platform. Samajwadi Party District President Kaleem Khan said that a joint public meeting of Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav is going to be held at the boarding ground on May 10.
