Mirzapur, 27 April (HIST). So far, 2590 quintals of oilseeds have been purchased from 133 farmers at a total of five centers in the district. For purchasing crops, three purchasing centers have been made in Sadar Mandi of the district and two in Ahraura Mandi.
Additional District Magistrate said that farmers should register on e-Samriddhi portal, then procurement will be done. He asked the officials to ensure timely payment to the farmers from whom purchases have been made. He said that after registering your Khasra, Khatauni, Aadhaar card and bank passbook on Kisan-e-Samriddhi portal, submit two copies of all these at the purchasing centre, along with this, also bring your mustard sample to the purchasing centre.
He said that the farmers themselves or the purchasing center or purchasing center in-charge must get the forms verified from their respective tehsil. After verification, bring your crop on the date given by the purchasing center in-charge, it will be purchased on the same day. Told that not more than 25 quintals will be purchased from one farmer in a day.
Purchasing centers will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm
The Additional District Magistrate directed all center in-charges and secretaries of registered societies, AR Cooperative, to ensure availability of sacks and preparation of all equipment at the centres. The center should be opened every day from 9 am to 5 pm in every condition. He said that in view of the heat, arrangements for drinking water and shady seating should be made at all the centres.
