Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on the occasion of 75th Republic Day that Punjab has been at the forefront in making the country a republic nation. After hoisting the tricolor on the occasion of National Day, the Chief Minister said in his address that today is a very important day for us. The country got independence after the sacrifice of Punjabis.

On the occasion of Republic Day, the Chief Minister remembered the countless sacrifices made for the independence of the country. The CM said that India got independence because of the sacrifices of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Rajguru, Shaheed Sukhdev, Lala Lajpat Rai, Shaheed Udham Singh, Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, Mai Bhago, Gadri Baba and other great martyrs.

CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he is not worried about the upcoming elections, rather he is working for the welfare of the next generation, which has led to many pioneering initiatives. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making concrete efforts for the welfare of the youth of the state. He said the focus of his government is to ensure that youth become job creators rather than job seekers. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the need of the hour is to make Punjab progressive and prosperous.

The Chief Minister said that during previous governments the youth were deprived of jobs and education so that they could run after political leaders. He said that this culture is being left to make the youth an integral part of the progress and prosperity of the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the day is not far when the ancient glory of Punjab will be restored with the strong efforts of the state government.
