Prajwal Revanna Case: The troubles of HD Revanna and his son Prajwal Revanna, caught in the country’s biggest alleged sex scam in Karnataka, are going to increase. In this case, the SIT constituted by the Siddaramaiah government issued a lookout notice against Prajwal Revanna and arrested HD Revanna on Saturday. Now CBI has requested Interpol to issue a blue notice against Prajwal.
Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, has been accused of sexually exploiting hundreds of women in Karnataka. JDS leader HD Revanna has been arrested by Karnataka Police SIT in this case. HD Revanna is being interrogated in the case of kidnapping of the victim woman who had complained against Prajwal Revanna. A case was registered on Thursday in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a woman in Mysore. After the woman registered the case, the police arrested Revanna’s confidant Satish Babanna. Now Revanna has been arrested for not appearing even after giving two notices by the SIT.
A young man named Raju HD has filed a case of kidnapping of the female victim in KR Nagar police station. In the complaint, he said that his mother used to work in the house and farmhouse of HD Revanna for six years, but three years ago she left the work and started working as a laborer in her village. A few days ago, his acquaintance Satish came and took his mother and brought her back after a few days. However, on April 29, Sathish returned to their home and forcibly took away his mother, claiming that Revanna had asked him to bring her. At this time the police was searching for him.
To avoid arrest in this case, HD Revanna had applied for anticipatory bail in the High Court. But on Saturday the High Court rejected his petition. The bench of Judge Santosh Gajanan Bhatt of the People’s Representative Court rejected the application and gave the date of May 6 for the next hearing.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara said on Saturday that the SIT has issued a lookout notice against JDS MLA from Holenarasipur HD Revanna and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna. Two FIRs have been registered against both the accused. SITA issued another notice to Prajwal to appear before it, which expired on Saturday evening. Karnataka government had said that CBI can issue Blue Corner Notice against JDS MP from Hassan Prajwal Revanna. After the publication of this notice by the International Police, there is a possibility of getting more information about Prajwal.
