EPFO: Many Employees Provident Fund (EPF) members are facing problems after applying for withdrawal claim from their EPF account. Some of them expressed their problem on EPFO’s social media site that even after claiming to withdraw money from their EPF account, they have not been updated about their claim.
EPFO said- it takes 20 days to receive the claim
Some EPF members posted their queries and complaints on social media platforms to attract the attention of EPFO. EPFO also answered most of the questions related to the claim for withdrawal of money. EPFO’s social media handle said that dear member, generally it takes 20 days to settle the claim or release the PF money.
If not received within 20 days then complain here
If the claim of individuals is not settled within 20 days, they should file a complaint with EPFO. EPFO said in response to an EPF customer’s tweet: Dear Member, Please register your complaint at http://epfigms.gov.in and you can track the status of your complaint at http://epfigms.gov.in .
One wrote that even after 17 days the claim is still in process. They have never seen digital services so slow before. On this, EPFO has said that dear member, generally it takes 20 days to settle a claim or release the PF amount. You can view the status of your claim and the reason for rejection.
