Meerut, 29 April (HS). On Monday, people demonstrated at the SSP office regarding the recovery of a youth missing for 15 days from Mundali police station area. People accused many people including the village head’s nephew of murdering the youth and also made serious allegations against the police.
Under the leadership of Inderpal, a resident of Murlipur of Mundali police station area, many people reached the SSP office on Monday and demonstrated. Inderpal’s son Sumit works as a plumber. About seven months ago, Sumit had a dispute with the village head’s nephew over wage money. On which Pradhan’s nephew had threatened Sumit of suffering. On April 14, the village head’s nephew reached Sumit’s house with his comp.on. They forcibly took Sumit with them on the pretext of getting the tap repaired. There is no trace of Sumit since then. Even after the complaint, the police is not taking any action in this matter. The victim’s family, fearing Sumit’s murder, demanded action from SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan. The SSP assured him of fair action.
