According to Regional Passport Officer Ghaziabad IFS Anuj Swaroop, notices were sent to applicants with files before 2023, but not all applicants contacted the office, due to which these files have been closed. Such applicants will have to apply again by paying new fees. A campaign is going on to end the pendency in the passport office. So that there is no passport left.
These are the shortcomings in the application
Documents were not attached, due to which the date of birth is not clear. The police themselves were not present during the verification. The police report has come to the contrary. The name and address filled in the form and the name and address recorded in the identity card were found to be different. Information about the case was not given in the application.
