Jalaun, 23 September (Hindustan Reporter). In Jalaun Kotwali area, a young man was cheated of Rs 1 lakh 38 thousand by pretending to be an employee of Amazon company. The accused switched off his mobile number. The victim has filed a complaint in the police station demanding action.

Saurabh, who lives in Mohalla Dabagaran of Jalaun Kotwali area, gave a complaint to the police and told that a young man described himself as an employee of Amazon company. He talked on the phone on the pretext of getting a job in the company. He got one lakh 38 thousand rupees transferred to his account on the pretext of getting a job. After this, for a few days he kept the papers pending on the pretext of taking action. After this he switched off his mobile.

Kotwali in-charge Vimlesh Kumar said that the police have taken cognizance of the matter and have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
