Dhanbad, 7 May (Hindus). District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra scrutinized all the 28 nomination papers received for the Lok Sabha elections. Some candidates themselves and some candidates’ representatives were present during the scrutiny.
In scrutiny, nominations of three candidates, Hira Lal Shankhwar, Narayan Giri and Gautam Kumar Mahato were rejected.
The District Election Officer said that the last date for withdrawal of names is 3:00 pm on May 9, 2024. Voting is scheduled in Dhanbad on May 25 from 7 am to 5 pm. Counting of votes will be completed on June 4, 2024 and the election process will be completed on June 6.
