Jerusalem, May 10 (Hindu). Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that his country will ‘stand alone’ if necessary in the war against Hamas. At the same time, the Israeli army claimed that it has the necessary weapons to carry out military action in Rafah, the southern city of Gaza.

Netanyahu’s statement came after US President Joe Biden’s warning, in which Biden said that America will not provide Israel with weapons for the attack on the southern Gaza city of Rafah. Israel’s Prime Minister said, if we have to stand alone, we will stand alone. If needed, we will fight with our full strength.

Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral D.el Hagari told a press conference, “The military has the weapons for the operations that it is planning and we also have what we need for the operation in Rafah.” D.el’s comments came as US President Which comes after Biden’s statement in which he said that America will not supply weapons to Israel for military action in Rafah, the last stronghold of Hamas, in view of the fear of civilians coming under attack there. The military spokesman said Israel has close ties with the United States and disagreements should be resolved behind closed doors.
