Ranchi, 06 May (Hindu). The NDRF team searched the whole day on Monday for the body of a youth drowned in frozen water in a mine located in Pugadu Kubatoli of Tupudana OP area of Ranchi but could not find it. The deceased has been identified as Amit Minj (19), resident of Merla village of Lohardaga. The incident took place on May 5. When the villagers of Kuba Toli told that they had seen Amit going towards the mine and drowning. Gave information about the incident in the village. This news spread everywhere. After this, the family members of the deceased also got information about the incident.
Father Manoj told that he got information about something untoward happening to his son in the night. He hurriedly reached Tupudana OP and informed about the entire incident. But no one was found anywhere during the night. The NDRF team arrived on Monday morning but nothing was found. On Tuesday also, the NDRF team will come to the spot and search for the dead body in the mine. He told that Amit Minj was living on rent with his sister at Jagannath Toppo’s house in Balsering for the last one year. After writing the examination his sister went to the village. Along with his intermediate studies, the boy also worked part time in a steel factory.
