Material:

Khoya or Mawa – 250 grams

Powdered sugar – 200 grams

Ghee – 2 or 3 tablespoons

Cardamom pods – 4-5 (crushed)

Method:

-First of all mash the khoya with the help of a spoon.

– Now heat a pan and add khoya in it. – Keep stirring continuously on low flame until it turns light brown.

-When it starts turning golden brown, add 2 tablespoons ghee to it and keep frying until it turns golden brown.

-If the khoya seems dry, add 2 tablespoons of milk cream and keep stirring until the milk is absorbed.

– Now turn off the flame but keep stirring the khoya for some time because the pan is still hot and the khoya may stick.

-Add half the powdered sugar to it and mix well. – Now you can give this mixture the shape of pedas.

-To make Peda, take a small portion of this mixture in your hand and give it a round shape.

– Then press it lightly with your palm and give it a shape like Peda.

Now keep this peda in a plate sprinkled with cardamom powder and sugar.
