Golaghat: Assam’s Golaghat town was rocked by a triple murder on Monday where a man allegedly killed his wife, father-in-law and mother-in-law. Golaghat district Superintendent of Police Pushkin Jain told . over phone, “The accused has surrendered before the police. He has confessed that he has committed the crime. Our investigation is on.” The accused has been identified as Najibur Rehman, police said.
The incident took place on Monday at Hindi School Road in Golaghat city. The victims were identified as Sanjib Ghosh, his wife Junu Ghosh and Sanghamitra Ghosh, wife of the accused man.
The accused surrendered before the police along with his minor daughter.
