Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3 Updates: Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 has started. The fate of the candidates on 14 Lok Sabha seats of North Karnataka will be decided today. Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections will take place today i.e. on 07 May 2024. With this election, the voting process of Gujarat, Assam, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh states in the country will be completed. Voting will take place from 7 am to 5 pm.

Voting in North Karnataka:

Voting for Chikkodi, Belgaum, Shimoga, Raichur, Bidar, Bagalkot, Vijaypur, Koppala, Bellary, Kalaburagi, Uttara Kannada, Davangere, Haveri and Dharwad Lok Sabha constituencies will be held on May 07.

Decision on future of 227 candidates:

A total of 227 candidates are in the fray in 14 Lok Sabha constituencies. A total of 17 men and one woman are in the fray. Six men, two women in Vijaypur, 13 men in Belgaum, 20 men in Bagalkot, two women, 17 men in Dharwad, 12 men in Kalaburagi, one woman, 18 men in Bidar, 25 men in Davanagere, 5 women, 17 men in Koppal. There are two women, seven men, one woman in Raichur, 10 men in Bellary, 11 men and three women in Haveri, 12 men and one woman in Uttara Kannada, 21 men and two women candidates in Shimoga.

With this election, the voting process for 283 seats across the country will be completed. Elections will be held in four phases on 262 seats of MP. After a total of seven phases of elections, the counting of votes will take place on June 04.
