Karan Bhushan Singh Preparations for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 are going on in full swing. Meanwhile, political parties are brainstorming the names of their candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha seats under various phases. This also includes Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh.

Voting will be held in Uttar Pradesh in the fifth phase i.e. on May 20. At present, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh of BJP is the MP from this seat. However, there is no consensus yet in BJP on who should be given ticket from Kaiserganj. But now a big update has come out in this matter.

Brijbhushan’s son may get ticket from Kaiserganj seat

According to sources, Bharatiya Janata Party may cancel the ticket of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat. The party will also announce this soon. It is being said that BJP can give ticket to Brij Bhushan’s son Karan Bhushan Singh from Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat.

Who is Karan Bhushan Singh?

Brij Bhushan’s younger son Karan Bhushan was born on 13 December 1990. He has been a national player in double trap shooting. Also, Karan Bhushan Singh has studied business management from Australia. Presently he is the President of Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association. If he gets the ticket, it will be his first election. According to the information, Karan Bhushan can file his candidature from Kaiserganj on 3rd May.

Brijbhushan accused of sexual harassment from female wrestler

Many female wrestlers had accused Brij Bhushan of sexual harassment, the hearing of this case is going on in the court. The Rouse Avenue court has fixed May 7, 2024, for pronouncing its order on ‘framing of charges’ in the case related to sexual harassment allegations leveled by six female wrestlers against Brij Bhushan Singh. MP Brij Bhushan Singh has also completely rejected all the allegations against him.

Brij Bhushan won the first election from Kaiserganj on SP ticket.

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has been MP from Gonda thrice, Bahraich twice and Kaiserganj once. He contested the elections on SP ticket and won. Brij Bhushan won his first election from Kaiserganj seat on SP ticket.

In 2008, BJP had suspended Brij Bhushan from the party on charges of cross voting on the no-confidence motion against the UPA government. In the 2009 elections, he contested from Kaiserganj seat on SP ticket and won. Before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Brij Bhushan returned to BJP and reached Parliament from Kaiserganj seat. In 2019 also he was elected MP on BJP ticket.
