Karnal, 8 May (HS). Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal set out on a public relations tour in Nilokheri assembly constituency of Karnal Lok Sabha constituency on Wednesday morning. During this period, he covered the entire assembly constituency through public meetings in a dozen villages. People were competing to meet their leader. While interacting directly with the people in many villages, the former Chief Minister enumerated many schemes of the Modi government and the Haryana government. During this, Manohar Lal called for planting lotus flowers on all the 11 seats of Haryana to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This public relations journey, which started on Wednesday morning, was resonating with the entire area with slogans of Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Narendra Modi and Manohar Lal Zindabad. On this occasion, BJP leader and MLA from Gharaunda Harvinder Kalyan and Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi, who was the BJP candidate from here in the last elections, were mainly present.

Former Chief Minister Manhar Lal said that in 1947, Congress had added a clause in the Constitution which made it seem that Kashmir had become bigger than the country. At that time no one understood this section. Due to this section, Kashmir was burning and Pakistan was showing its eyes. In such a situation, Narendra Modi broke this section with a pen. Congress used to say that if Article 370 was removed then rivers of blood would flow but after the section was broken no one was even scratched. The former Chief Minister said that after the breaking of this section, now Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India like other states of the country.
