Jind, May 10 (Hindustan Reporter) Pillukheda police station has arrested the accused of embezzling Rs 17.67 lakh on the pretext of appointing a sub-inspector and taken him on four-day remand from the court. The police is interrogating the accused.

Satbir, resident of village Hadwa, had told in the complaint given to the police on November 7 that he came in contact with Ravindra, resident of village Taitana in the year 2022. Who told that he has good acquaintance with big people. Falling under the influence of this, his son talked about appointing a sub-inspector in the police. In return for which Ravidra demanded Rs 35 lakh.

By December 30, 2022, his son gave cash of Rs 4.65 lakh and a check of Rs 13 lakh to Ravindra. Despite this his son did not get a job. When he asked for the amount back, the accused refused to return the amount. On the complaint of Satbir, Pillukheda police station had registered a case against Ravindra under various sections including fraud. The police took action and arrested Ravindra, produced him in the court and took him on remand for four days. The police is interrogating the accused. On Friday, Pillukheda police station’s investigating officer .l Kumar said that the accused has been taken on four-day remand from the court. Due to which facts are being gathered in the context of the case.
