Paush Amavasya – The Amavasya date of Paush month which falls in the middle of January is called Amavasya of Paush. Giving donations to ancestors on this day is considered auspicious. Along with this, doing chanting, penance, charity and pilgrimage on this Amavasya is very beneficial and by doing these religious activities on this day, all the sins are destroyed. This time the new moon day of Pausha month will fall on Thursday, 11 January 2024.

Putrada Ekadashi – It is the most favorite date of Lord Vishnu among all Ekadashis. Putrada Ekadashi falls on the Ekadashi day of Shukla Paksha of Pausha month. It is said in the scriptures that people who regularly observe fast on the day of Putrada Ekadashi and worship Narayana. They get obedient children. This time Putrada Ekadashi will be celebrated on 21 January 2024, Sunday.

Lohri- This festival has a very special significance in itself. Lohri festival is considered to be the main festival among the festivals falling in the month of January. This festival is completely dedicated to nature. On the day of Lohri, farmers dedicate their new crops to fire. This festival will be celebrated on 14 January in the year 2024.

Makar Sankranti- Makar Sankranti falls on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Posha month i.e. on 15th January. The auspicious time on this day is from 07:15 am to 05:46 pm. During this period, one can worship, chant and donate. At such a time, Mahapunya Kaal is from 07:15 in the morning to 09:00 in the morning. By worshiping and donating during this time, one gets special blessings of Sun God.
