Korba/Janjgir-Champa, 07 May (HIST). Voting for the Lok Sabha elections is to be held on May 7 from 7 am to 6 pm. On Monday, when the polling team reached the polling station with voting material, the villagers welcomed them with garlands of flowers and tilak.

The voting party was traditionally welcomed by the tribal women of the tribal model polling center of village Navagaon in Baloda district. With this, polling stations were ready to welcome the voters of the district. 11 model polling centers have been prepared in the district on the basis of different themes. These have been decorated on the themes of Garuva Art, Rainbow, Kosa Kansa Kanchan, Barrage Theme, Black and White, India Gate, Tribal Culture, Eco-Friendly, Traditional Bamboo Craft, Warli Art and Water Conservation. Seeing these polling stations, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the voters.
