Jaipur, 8 May (HS). Education Minister Madan Dilawar said on Wednesday that in view of the scorching heat in the state, school timings will be changed to provide relief to the students.

Posting on social media X, Dilawar wrote that the state government has taken another sensitive decision. Our government, dedicated to good governance, will change the school timings of the students in view of the scorching heat in the state. He said that the state government is determined to take favorable decisions for the students, keeping their interests paramount.

It is noteworthy that in view of the extreme heat and heat wave conditions in the state, Education Department Director Ashish Modi on Tuesday issued an order giving all district collectors the right to change holidays and timings in government and private schools. After which, in Kota, Jaisalmer, Bhilwara and Jhunjhunu districts, the school timings have been changed from 7.30 to 11 in the morning. In view of the increasing heat in other districts also, school timings may soon be changed.
