Such large footprints of Lord Hanuman have been found in Penang, Malaysia. People come here from far and wide to see the feet of Hanumanji. Devotees throw coins at the footprints here for good luck.

Hanumanji’s footprints are also found in Thailand.

This picture is not of India but of Thailand. But till now no supporting information has been found about it. You will also find similar footprints in Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh. The local people here believe that these footprints are of Lord Hanuman, while some people say that these are the footprints of Mother Sita.

As you might have read about the historical city of Lepakshi in the Indian epic Ramayana, when Ravana was going to Lanka after kidnapping Goddess Sita, a bird named Jatayu fought with him.

Then, footprints of Mother Sita were formed on the earth. Jatayu could not fight Ravana for long and fell at this very place. According to Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Ram along with Lakshman met the dying bird king Jatayu at this place.
