Sahibganj, 10 May (HS). JMM candidate Vijay Hansda from Rajmahal Lok Sabha seat filed his nomination in Sahibganj on Friday. After the nomination, Chief Minister Champai Soren and former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren appealed to the people to make the JMM candidate win.
In the public meeting org.zed after this, Chief Minister Soren said that the Grand Alliance government in the state of Jharkhand has run many schemes for the tribal, backward and minority communities, through which the people of the state have benefited a lot. He expressed confidence that the people of Jharkhand will show their faith in the Grand Alliance and make the Grand Alliance candidates victorious on all the 14 seats of Jharkhand.
Kalpana Soren, while addressing the gathering, said that the people of entire Jharkhand will vote in favor of the Grand Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections and ensure victory to the Grand Alliance candidates. He said that former Chief Minister Hemant Soren will soon come out of jail and will be among all of us. Describing the achievements of the Jharkhand government, he said that the state government is running many schemes in public interest, which are benefiting the common people.
JMM candidate from Rajmahal Lok Sabha, Vijay Hansda said that the stage of nomination meeting is definitely broken but the morale of us Grand Alliance workers is high. Accusing BJP, he said that as soon as the time of elections comes, BJP works to divide people on the basis of religion and caste, but now the public has understood this action of BJP very well.
