A super visa holder can stay for 5 years
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will respond to super visa applications within two weeks. According to the new notification, a visitor with a super visa will be able to stay in Canada continuously for 5 years. It is noteworthy that this visa provides multiple entry facility to parents and grandparents for up to 10 years.
Who can apply for Super Visa?
- Sponsor must have Canadian Citizenship, PR and Registered Indian
- Necessary documents have to be submitted
- Relatives or adopted children can sponsor their parents, grandparents.
- A registered Indian does not require any additional proof other than the Indian State Certificate.
- The sponsored person must have financial stability based on the prescribed criteria.
- Parents and grandparents must have valid health insurance from a certified provider.
