Fatehabad, 7 May (Hindustan Reporter) On Tuesday, workers in search of work protested against the government and administration taking no care for the laborers at the labor shed near the old bus stand of the city. The workers clearly said that whichever party will support the workers and provide them facilities and employment, the labor unions will support that party in these elections. During this time, Lakshya Garg, State Joint Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party, which is part of the India Alliance, reached the spot and reached among the workers and listened to their problems. He assured the workers that after the victory of India Alliance, work will be done to solve the problems of the workers.

The protesting workers said that the government and administration have not provided any facilities for the workers at the labor shed built near the old bus stand. From morning to evening, workers sit here waiting for work, but the situation here remains from bad to worse. Earlier a public toilet was built here for the labourers. The administration had got it demolished saying that after demolishing it new toilets would be built here but even after so much time has passed, no arrangement for toilets has been made. Not only this, no arrangement has been made even for drinking water for the workers in the scorching heat. The workers are forced to remain thirsty the whole day. Not only this, there are heaps of garbage around Labor Chowk. The s.tation system is in bad condition. While the foul smell emanating from the filth makes it difficult for them to sit here, there is also a fear of workers falling ill due to the abundance of mosquitoes. AAP leader Lakshya Garg, while addressing the workers, said that after the victory of the India Alliance candidate, they will work to solve these problems. On this occasion, Block President Sadhuram Bishnoi, Rohtash Khatti, Prem Kumar, Ramesh Kamboj etc. were present with him.
