RCB captain has broken Chris Gayle’s 12 year old record. Gayle had scored 50 runs in the powerplay in 2012. In the first six overs, RCB scored 92 runs at the loss of just one wicket, which is the sixth highest score in the history of this league.
Faf du Plessis became the first batsman
Let us tell you that Du Plessis completed his half-century in just 18 balls while playing an innings of 64 runs, after which he became the second batsman to score the fastest half-century for RCB. The record for the fastest half-century for a team is in the name of Chris Gayle, who scored a half-century in 17 balls against Pune Warriors in 2013.
