A new turn has come in the Russia-Ukraine war that has been going on for more than two years. Ukraine’s army has accused Russia of using chemical weapons. That’s why America and France are angry. For this, America wants to bring Russia to the negotiating table. America is told that Russia also uses chlorovikrin and nitrochloroform in war. This second gas is also called ‘tear gas’. It is well known that nitrochloroform (tear-gas) is also used to disperse rioters. Then tears come to the eyes. Inhaling excessive amounts causes damage to the lungs and skin rashes.
Russia is accused of injuring Ukrainian soldiers with ‘tear gas’. But if tear gas enters the lungs in large quantities, it causes so much damage to the respiratory system that it can even lead to death.
Therefore, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine has asked the soldiers to wear masks.
Russia has rejected these allegations and said that it does not do anything like that. However, European countries are not taking America’s threat lightly. French President Emmanuel Macron has said that if Russia became too aggressive and Ukraine said, France would send its troops to Ukraine. That was that chemical weapons should not be used in war. Those agreements were signed by 193 countries. The then Soviet Union was also among the signatory countries.
Chlorovicrin was used in World War I. It is an oily substance. Vomiting occurs when it enters the body. Diarrhea occurs and dizziness occurs.
Such chemicals are banned under the Geneva Convention. Russia says, we follow its principles exactly. False allegations are being made against us.
