Greater Noida, April 29:Lights went off for two hours last night at Amrapali Leisure Park in Greno West. Even DG backup did not work when the lights went off. When the lights went off, the residents created a ruckus at the society gate.
Electricity disappeared in the society late at night. As soon as the power went out, DG backup also did not start. Residents called the society management and AOA but received no response. Residents troubled by the heat created a ruckus at the society gate and raised slogans against the AOA.
Society residents told that the AOA president does not live in the society. No effort is ever made to resolve the problems of the residents. Every day the lifts keep getting stuck, there is shortage of water, but AOA is not ready to listen to anything. When the AOA President does not live in the society then how will he know about the problems of the society.
The residents have requested the Court Receiver to resolve the problems of the residents by complaining about the AOA. There has been a warning of protest at the court receiver’s office if the problems are not resolved.
It is noteworthy that there are about 1800 units in the society, out of which 600 units have been handed over so far. In which families are living. Here the common man struggles daily with the basic problems of light security and water.
